The Persian King Cyrus & the Jews

I've been asking myself the same question for years: Why did Cyrus allow the Judeans to return to Jerusalem and take with them the artifacts that King Nabucodonozor had taken from the temple?I said Judeans rather than Hebrews or Jews. The latter did not exist.

The fact remains that all the Hebrews of that time came from the tribe of Judah, so David ended up being its King, and it was his descendants who were exiled to Babylonia at the time.
Back to my question: why did Cyrus take this idea?
I decided to find out who the father and mother of this Cyrus were.
As an aside, there were Cyrus I and Cyrus II, just as there were Xerxes I and Xerxes II, but I don't care.

I'm now going back to our Bible, where the book of Esther tells us about her life with her husband, King Assuerus. I discovered that this king was called Xerxes and that he had a son named Cyrus.
Cyrus would be the son of the Jewess Esther, so as he grew up and learned the story of his mother's life, he understood that the wrong that had been done had to be righted.
I wonder at this very moment if anyone else has thought as I have. Or am I a little too vain to believe in something that only I could?

Do we think that today's Persians, who call themselves Iranians, have an idea as far-fetched as mine?

It would be more the job of all those archaeologists, anthropologists and researchers to see if there's anything similar.

I've looked at the dates and they look good. The exile began in 586, no need to add letters , and was to last 70 years. That would take us to 516, but history says that Cyrus was there in 520.

I wonder if anyone reading this article, written after some research on my part, will want to go and check my claims.

I wouldn't mind being contradicted, as long as I've learned something new.

That's all I ask. I do consider, however, that if my theory has any value whatsoever, I'd be delighted to learn about the bright side.
