Yes, I'm speaking to anyone who has read at least one of my articles.
I'm sure you've noticed my emphasis on very important points. I try to make an IMPACT by INSPIRING and ENGAGING the world towards greater KNOWLEDGE, which includes CREATIVITY and INNOVATION.
My intention is to have intentionally written in CAPITAL LETTERS the words that in my simple opinion should be the way of life we all want. Why not take action now?
Far be it from me to impress anyone. I think I've reached the age that sharpens us. There's no question of burying our nature. Discipline has become our dignity, and calm has replaced chaos. I've come to realize that the power of silence conquers all.
My wish is to invite the world to take action. Everything is within our reach if we convince ourselves that everything is possible, because possibility is what can be, what can exist, what can be done. Truth is hidden in actions, so it's up to us to act. Time doesn't heal wounds, it teaches us how to live, and it is pain that teaches us.
If you look around you, you'll notice that people respect the money, not the person. That's why we need to be patient and adopt the right attitude. Let's learn that true respect can't be bought, it has to be earned. Salt and sugar are similar, but they don't taste the same.
Another piece of advice: don't compare yourself to others, because comparison is poison. And above all, don't try to please, you should rather persist in the path you've chosen. As human beings, we have a goal, and it's up to us to achieve it. That's our purpose, our reason for being. In fact, purpose always precedes product.
Each of us feels obliged to find our own raison d'être. It's something rooted in human nature that tells us we're here for a purpose.
I'm talking about the purpose of our life, which must precede life itself, and life is the result of this purpose. It's not something we can create after we're born.
Speaking of purpose, we understand that purpose comes before fact. You don't build a car until you know what it's for. When you need to get quickly from where you are to where you want to go, you invent a car - the purpose always precedes the product.
Finally, we have a certain influence, on a certain number of people, in a limited field and that's it, we do our bit and have an effect on our little part of the cosmos.
A final word of advice: Don't think about death! There's nothing positive about it. It takes you away from life, your life. It's yours, and yours to cherish. Love it and hold on to it, especially as it is sometimes short.
I'd like to share my website with you, if you're curious to find out more. Its name refers to my first love, dating back to my tender youth. www.WisdomWhereAreYou.com'´
I spoke earlier of action, and here's its final word. Yes, we live in a generation of action, where "well done" is far better than "well said".
P.S. I must confess to having retained a few notes from Manis Friedman's latest book, "Creating a Life That Matters".
